Energy Smart  EasyCool offering

Receive an additional $50 discount on your Smart Thermostat purchase when you enroll in EasyCool.

When you purchase a smart thermostat on the marketplace and select the ‘Thermostat + EasyCool enrollment’ option, you will be automatically registered in the EasyCool program.

To complete your enrollment, you will need to install the Smart Thermostat within 60 days of the order date. Terms and conditions apply.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The smart thermostat device must be installed within 60 days at the service address on your Entergy New Orleans residential electric account.
  • The smart thermostat device must be connected to your Wi-Fi network and central air conditioning for cooling.
  • If these requirements are not met, you will no longer be eligible to receive the $50 purchase incentive. The $50 will be charged back to the credit card used to place your smart thermostat purchase order.

What is EasyCool:

  • During a maximum of 15 peak-demand events each year, your enrolled smart thermostat will automatically make 2-4 degree temperature adjustments to increase the reliability of electrical service.
  • As an EasyCool participant, you can always manually adjust your thermostat to your desired comfort level.
  • These demand response events will last no longer than four hours and will not occur on weekends or holidays.
